Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our client in Atlanta, GA.

Salary: 40-55K depending on experience

SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.- Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.- Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.

Experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives, Servos, Switches, oscilloscopes, multi-meters

Prior work experience in a corrugated manufacturing facility is preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

Certificate in applied electrical maintenance and/or Associates Degree in Electronics a plus

Has some understanding in Preventive and Predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to reading specifications and blueprints, performing mechanical tasks, troubleshooting and repairing machines and equipment, performing preventative maintenance and modifications on equipment, providing equipment status reports, following all safety guidelines, and daily cleanup of work area.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.

Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.

Computer experience/operation and PLC programming are necessary.

High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances required.
