responsibilities:

Billing Analyst responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Review and research a high volume of transactions, identifying root causes of discrepancies and recognize resolutions, document issues and report to management.

  • Identify, review, and prepare account adjustments.

  • Responsible for running queries - monthly PDF billing invoices from the mainframe software and provide them to the customers.

  • Creating Billing reports using advanced Excel skills, which requires to manipulate and make modifications to the data-set such as moving columns, do v-lookups, sorting and subtotals by cost center, invoice number, PO, or creating and using macros.

  • Provide customer service regarding billing related issues.

  • Reaching out to the customers, managers, and AR collectors by e-mail and written correspondence for any corrections or modifications on the billing side.

  • Identify, review, and prepare account adjustments.

  • Resolve client discrepancies and short payments.

  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts - customer calls, account adjustments, customer reconciliations.

  • Prepares and processes customer credit memos and terminations and maintains related accurate records

  • Assists with system balancing process and prepares process documentation

qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree with 2+ years related experience - REQUIRED

  • Excellent time management, organizational and multi-task skills

  • Advanced level of Excel proficiency REQUIRED (vlookups/pivot tables)

  • Detail oriented

  • Overtime as needed/required (month/quarter end close, peak volumes)

  • Exemplary customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - ability to work with a strong sense of urgency

  • Demonstrate positive and professional behavior as a member of a team
