Marketing Manager - Strategic and Project Management

The Marketing Manager for Strategic and Project Management acts as the primary interface between the Client Global Marketing team and the organization's marketing team. The role aims to ensure strong alignment of marketing strategies, give both teams oversight of each other's core projects, assists the marketing teams in aligning resources and timelines to help deliver appropriate support to the organization and champions the sharing of best practices between teams.

The role will be split between both the Boston and Burlington offices of both teams. Reports to the head of business and product marketing (primary) and the head of marketing (secondary).

In addition, the role also provides Project Management support (as required) for the Front to Back (F2B) Marketing strategy - especially as it relates to the inclusion of CRD.

responsibilities:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the primary interface between marketing teams. Ensures that the organization has a single point of contact to deal with for any requests, questions or support.

  • Organizes a weekly meeting between the two teams to ensure key projects are discussed, progress is monitored and tracked as well as creating a forum where initiatives can be properly discussed and communicated ahead of roll out.

  • Owns and manages the project plans requiring Global Marketing support and ensures that the marketing teams are aware of any company activities requiring support, their role, resources required and timelines. Seeks out opportunities to utilize the Shared Service Center team/Self Service model where appropriate.

  • Ensures that the major marketing activities are monitored, tracked and reported, via internal campaign management tool, and looks for synergy opportunities with the wider Global Marketing strategy and activities. Acts as primarily point for tracking and reconciling the organization's related budget initiatives (Client and the organization).

  • Regularly communicates the most recent Global Marketing updates to the team and seeks their input as those plans and programs are developed to ensure the organization's needs are appropriately factored in from an early stage.

  • Working closely with the organization, helps maintain a regularly updated competitor overview of comparable marketing activities.

  • Is responsible for ensuring the latest marketing and sales materials are available to the client and product marketing heads and deals with any requests from those business lines for specific material eg deal decks for top 58 clients, product or segment solutions that might include the organization's capabilities. Receives and responds to or re-directs general marketing queries from internal stakeholders.

  • Builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved with the organization as needed. Ensures that the organization's input to the F2B marketing strategy is managed and incorporated.

  • Provides project management support to the F2B Marketing strategy at the direction of the head of F2B and NPS Marketing.

qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • University degree, ideally in a communications-related discipline.

  • Ideally, five years of marketing and communications experience however, strong project management skills a must - preferably within financial services or technology

  • Excellence in verbal and written communications and knowledge of communications best practices.

  • Strong project and time management skills.

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and general computer proficiency.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interface with colleagues from all disciplines, backgrounds and cultures to produce content that is interesting and relevant.

  • Must be a highly motivated and energetic self-starter who is able to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment-both independently and as a dedicated team member.
