Project Manager

Permanent position: Project Manager near Buford, GA at a leading global manufacturer of food processing and automation equipment.This position is responsible for the overall communication, pre-planning, coordination, and monitoring all aspects of a project from the point of sale through delivery stage. Candidates must have a Technical Four year degree with at least three (3) years of project management experience is required. This is a direct hire opportunity with a fast paced and growing company. Relocation/Moving assistance to be provided for an ideal candidate. Approximately 50% of this position's duties require travel. APPLY NOW!

Responsibilities for the Project Manager

  • Responsible for the overall communication, pre-planning, coordination, and monitoring all aspects of a project from the point of sale through delivery stage

  • Interacts regularly with customers to determine their needs and ensure that all objectives, including; planning, start-up, commissioning, installation, protocol sign-off and finalization of the project are understood

  • Manage and assess variances from the project plans, budgets and schedules

  • Develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within the specified scope

  • Facilitate and lead project meetings, both internally and externally - at the customer's location

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project recording and documentation

  • Travel 50%

Requirements for the Project Manager

  • Technical Degree is required (Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred)

  • Minimum of three (3) years' project management experience in the start-up, commissioning, and installation of equipment within a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, regulations and financial reports

  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or SAP preferable

  • Ability to speak Spanish is preferable
