Senior Staff Accountant

job summary:

A large company in North County San Diego is hiring a Senior Accountant. This person will report directly to the Controller and own the month-end close process. Qualified candidates will have manufacturing industry experience. This is a great opportunity to join an industry leader with extremely competitive pay and benefits.

  • month-end close and journal entries

  • prepare financial statements

  • monthly accruals

  • oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • variance analysis and monthly sales reporting

  • bank account recs

  • assist with tax process

  • monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting


  • bachelor's degree required

  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience required

  • strong Excel skills required

  • manufacturing industry experience required

  • strong written and verbal communication skills
