Onboarding & Training Administrator

To manage and coordinate onboarding and training for crew by providing the highest quality support and services to ensure a positive onboarding and training experience.


  1. Coordinates and manages logistics and scheduling for all new hire training classes as well as ongoing business unit training for existing crew and leaders.

  2. Maintains active pool of coaching support for training purposes. Provides and shares best practices for coaching sessions, oversees the coaching process, and provides feedback to leaders on the performance of coaches.

  3. Fosters strong working relationship with VU, Global Support, the Information Center, CQC, and business Team Leaders and Managers.

  4. Enables on the job learning through facilitation of deep technical content in large group, small group and one on one settings. Encourages and enhances participation, facilitates discussion, keeps learners focused by managing time and pace.

  5. Stays abreast to changes within the department, company, and industry that may impact Talent Strategy. Evaluates course content, material, and assessments to ensure they are consistent with current workflows and procedures. Elevates identified gaps and recommendations to Program Manager and VU when appropriate.

  6. Collaborates with Facilities and local leadership to complete all facilities requests at the site level. Executes on all onboarding logistics for contractors and new hires.

  7. Provides advanced communication support during the hiring process to welcome new hires, answer questions about the onboarding process, and encourage strong study habits.

  8. Provides logistical support such as gathering and inputting data, submitting move requests, monitoring the process, and confirming completion. Communicates expectations to impacted crew and leaders before, during, and after move requests.

  9. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


  • Strong relationship management, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

  • Very strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and/or projects concurrently.

  • Flexibility, strong decision making skills and effective time management skills.

  • Proven ability to work with attention to detail under tight time constraints.

  • Demonstrated facilitation skills.






  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of two years general experience and one year industry/technology.

  • Demonstrated success with managing simple to moderately-complex projects from beginning to end preferred.
