Production Coordinator

Randstad Inhouse Services is currently reviewing candidates for a Production Coordinator role. This position will support 2nd Shift ensuring the correct parts/materials are available for our client, a renowned leader in heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration solutions located in North Charlotte. The schedule of 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM will allow an individual to proactively identify discrepancies or verify the accuracy of those parts/materials needed to meet the forecasted production schedule.

The schedule requirements will mirror that of the production line. The normal schedule is Monday through Thursday with the expectation of being available for Friday and Saturday.

The facility does require steel toed shoes which are not provided. All other necessary PPE are provided (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, etc). Training on in house systems and procedures will be provided for the qualified candidate.

Pay starts at $14.00 per hour


Your primary role will be to ensure the correct parts and supplies are available on the production line resolving any discrepancies in advance of scheduled delivery. This can be accomplished by successfully executing the following:

  • Providing intermediary assistance by gathering information across multiple departments (close the communication gap) i.e partner with the Production, Materials, and 3PL departments

  • Compile and deliver parts/materials per prescribed kit list

  • Identify discrepancies noting part number, production unit, and production line

  • Utilize in house systems to update inventory levels

  • Proactively discover production line needs and availability

Working hours: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

  • Ability to multitask, be detail oriented, and prioritize based on production needs

  • Fully understand the importance of this role in a distribution/manufacturing environment

  • Apply new information effectively to produce proactive results

  • Effective communication skills with a focus on customer service






Candidates with the following qualifications will be considered:

  • Knowledge of inventory control practices in a manufacturing or distribution type setting

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Ability to provide previous examples of cross functional communications (Issue, purpose, dialogue, result)

  • Applicable work experience or education

Background check and drug screen are required for consideration. A High School diploma or GED are required. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
