Project Manager
The project manager will be the conduit between the sales/engineering team and the customer, to insure that all customer requirements and project deliverables are met as planned, both on time and per budget requirements. This position requires a high-energy individual who is organized, accountable, and is a self starter. Individual must have previous project management experience and thrive in a technical, team based environment.
Responsibilities:
-Strong collaboration with Engineering and Production to drive people, equipment, materials, and facilities to cost effectively exceed customer expectations, while meeting internal financial and operational metrics
Review of project proposal, sales agreement, customer PO, project scope, and project notes
Initiate, distribute, receive and catalog all necessary signed documentation from customer including project scope, design layouts, and project acceptance
Input and maintain project information (resources, labor, timelines) within ERP system
Maintain documented records of pertinent customer interactions and project decisions
Provide bi-weekly project updates to the project team
Work closely with the vendor network, Production and Purchasing teams to ensure project materials are available as needed
Communicate to key project milestones to necessary internal parties (payment terms, marketing, shipping logistics)
Travel to customer sites for support and turnkey runoffs. Overnight stays may be required
Execute project closure procedure activities including: cost, material resource, and labor reconciliation
Develop and update department Project Management Standards
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required
Travel
20-40% travel required to support installation and start-up activities
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Education
BS in a project management discipline, or an engineering discipline with strong background in project
management, teamwork, and effective communication strategies.
Working Relationships
The Project Manager will work closely with application engineering, production, sales, and management

Strong technical aptitude, manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to build customer relationships to gain repeat customers
Understanding of operational metrics and basic statistics
Experience in creating schedules and timelines
