Shipping Coordinator

Randstad Inhouse Services is currently reviewing resumes for a Shipping Coordinator role. This position will support our clients Shipping department by scheduling outbound shipments, making inventory adjustments in SAP, and marking out finished goods once shipped. Our client is a world's leader in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration solutions and is looking for the right candidate to ultimately join their Shipping department and service their inventory control needs.

The facility is climate controlled and does offer a full service cafeteria. This position will be split between an office and industrial setting (PPE provided, except steel toed shoes). Training on in house systems and procedures will be provided for the qualified candidate.

The regular schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. The daily schedule may be extended based on logistical needs.

Pay is $16.00/hour.


  • Utilize SAP for all Inventory Control functions

  • Manage LTL and FedEx shipments

  • Perform cycle counts on all finished goods

  • Initiate, setup, and finalize shipments with customers

  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and correct

  • Verify accuracy and integrity of inbound shipments

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel

  • Computer savvy with the ability to quickly learn and apply new system knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service

  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar warehouse management systems






  • Proven inventory control experience in relation to the primary job functions described above

  • Prior success in a distribution or manufacturing environment supporting Supply Chain or Logistics departments

  • Able to work autonomously

  • Knowledge of shipment scheduling/dispatching

  • Bachelor's degree a plus but real life experience goes a long way too
