Financial Systems Analyst

This exempt position is part of the team that supports the financial business systems and provides information, primarily financial in nature, about organizational activities that will assist the partnership, management and other users in making economic decisions about the organizations future.

responsibilities:

Essential Duties

  • Provide assistance to the Manager and Director of Finance in the day-to-day operations, primarily supporting Elite 3E and its other business applications that integrate with Elite.

  • Provide high quality financial and statistical reports to internal clients.

  • Develop and analyze revenue and expense budgets.

  • Analyze and report on client, matter and timekeeper performance.

  • Develop, test, validate and distribute complex reports using SQL, SSRS and/or other reporting and analysis tools based on firm requirements.

  • Act as liaison between the IT and Finance department and work closely with Finance personnel in direct support of the Firm's financial systems.

  • Assist with system balancing and data audit activities.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

  • A general knowledge in accounting processes, financial systems and databases, along with an understanding of the business functions is preferred.

  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years work experience is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or a related field is required.
