Randstad Staffing is partnering with a company in Eden Prairie Minnesota! This is a direct hire Production Manager role in a warehouse/ manufacturing environment. Leadership skills are a must! Working in a diverse team of up to 15 people. The Production Manager position requires an individual that will bring passion, energy and enthusiasm to the warehouse department. The individual is tasked with providing leadership and direction for all warehouse employees.
-Tasked with the development of all warehouse employees and ensure that all warehouse employees receive adequate training throughout their employment.
-Demonstrates Midlands core values and ensures that those same values are established with each warehouse employee.
-Uses projected workloads to adjust quantity of personnel needed including hiring, layoffs and terminations.
-Correctly screen and identify applicants that fit Midlands values during hiring process. Develops and oversees onboarding plan for new warehouse employees.
-Coaches and motivates each employee to get them to reach their maximum potential.
-Conduct both informal and formal reviews with each warehouse employee. Develop a wage structure, determine any individual rate adjustments, recommends any base pay structure changes.
-Develops programs to monitor quality assurance and sets expected standards, holds employees accountable for reaching these standards, uses progressive discipline plan, including termination with those that dont reach standards.
-Set and communicate expectations for production performance, hold employees accountable for reaching production standards, uses progressive discipline plan, including termination with those that dont reach standards.
-Monitor inventory levels, keep enough inventory to meet projected workloads, ensure that no products are backordered.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

The employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to lift garage door sections or their components weighing up to 75 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to work extended hours to meet deadlines of projects or to serve customers needs.
This position operates in a warehouse/manufacturing environment. The employee will regularly use/be exposed to various tools in the manufacturing process including, but not limited to: various saws, drills, impacts, routers, spring pluggers, welders, cutting torches, and forklifts. The position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax/scan machines and file cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, heat and stress.
