This position reports to the Global Platform Manager, however, delivers the commitments made by the entire platform team representing all functions. The "Program Manager" role within the platform is a newly created position and accountable to address end-to-end program execution, after program definition through product delivery to market. This role is empowered to lead the cross-functional team, drive accountability on all program objectives, help resolve competing priorities, and above all, to proactively identify and mitigate risks. This is an exciting position within the Agriculture segment for many reasons: work closely with a diverse team from multiple functions, have a lasting impact to the our client's product line, and serve as a role model in the organization for excellence in program execution.

Responsible for the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and close out of the program.
Accountable to meet program commitments the first time-cost, quality, performance, schedule by bringing together the cross-functional team in a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Drive consistent communication across the cross-functional team to meet aligned program objectives.
Proactively identify and mitigate risk.
Facilitate program meetings and conflict resolution as needed.
Provide visibility to issues as they arise; escalate as needed.
Prepare communication materials and formal presentations as needed
The qualified candidate will have experience with the following:
This position requires a Bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing, or business
Over 10 years experience in Program Management of Industrial product development, within which five years of experience with cross-functional team collaboration.
skills: The preferred candidate will have experience with the following:
Strong written and oral communication skills are preferred.
This individual must be familiar with Global Product Development process.
Experience with Agile development methods a plus.
Ability to set clear objectives and deliverables, hold others accountable and influence others, regardless of position power or organizational boundaries.
This position also requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to extract and understand the big picture.
