Purchasing Analyst

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Purchasing Analyst in the Florham Park, NJ area!

This is a temp to hire role paying $16-18/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities:

The Purchasing Analyst is responsible for documenting and evaluating supplier?s proposals, generating quotations for the Sales Team, and processing purchase orders to suppliers. Additional responsibilities include data validation, process compliance, and reporting key information to management.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

Receive quote request from the sales team, verify item is approved for quoting and request price bids from WWP suppliers

Calculate shipping, duties, import and export fee's associated with the quotation

Generate customer sales quotation by following company pricing guidelines

Record and file all associated documentation backup

Audit incoming sales order requests to insure all required documentation is included

Verify the accuracy of all documentation and ensure all necessary approvals are in place

Communicate any discrepancies with the Sales and Customer Service Teams

Validate customer purchase order pricing and supplier pricing

Input both customer and supplier orders into ERP system with a high level of detail including: customer and supplier pricing, item specifications, packaging specifications, quality requirements, production approvals, shipping marks, and shipping schedules

Review orders processed by other team members

Send authorized purchase orders to supplier and file hard copies in purchase order binders

Respond to all day to day inquiries from the Sales, Customer Service, Traffic, Engineering, and Management Team in a timely fashion

Ensure all individuals are adhering to purchasing policy and/or company policy

Maintain vendor relationships
