Tool and Die Maker - 3rd Shift

ABC Technologies is part of an award-winning, global company (ABC Group), recognized for innovative products and processes. ABC Group is a Canadian-based manufacturer of automotive plastic processed products (Tier 1 supplier) working with the premier OEM's of the automotive industry. We are a plastic injection molding manufacturer of interior automotive parts and are located in Gallatin, TN.

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all molding tools.

Perform all tooling repairs that ABC Technologies is equipped to handle.

Inspect new tools according to ABC Technologies standards.

Ability to operate milling machine, lathe, band saw, and other tool shop machinery.

Maintain all related documentation to TS16949 standards.

Safely operate crane to handle tools.

Must troubleshoot and diagnose tooling issues.

Must be able to climb and crawl to make adjustments to tools while in press

Maintain all standard work including Mold Tag System, Mold Storage Standards, etc.

Ensure there are no quality or production interruptions or errors due to lack of giving or seeking information.

Follow lockout/tag out procedures as well as safety rules 100% of the time.

Take action to promptly correct or remove all workplace hazards and unsafe work conditions.

Provide information, instruction, and supervision to Employees, to protect the health and safety of the Employee.

Carry and enforce ABC Technologies workplace safety guidelines and health and safety statement.

Ensure first aid treatment is given to an injured employee immediately and further assistance, including medical, is sought immediately.

Ensure safety concerns that arise from safety incidents, accidents or safety meetings are corrected immediately.

Cooperate, participate and lead corrective actions in conjunction with health and safety committee, continuous improvement team and other departments within the facility.

Contribute to a work environment free from harassment, where fairness, equality, and non-discriminatory practices are standard.

Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

High School




3-5 years experience with Tool & Die Repair

High school diploma or equivalent required
