Seeking a Medical Receptionist for a busy Medical office located in Glastonbury, CT. Candidates must have Medical Receptionist experience in order to be considered. Speaking to patients over the phone and confirming/scheduling appointments
Reviewing new patient paperwork with patients
Sending new patient paperwork via email
Data entry into their patient portal
Reviewing insurance plans and making sure patients are covered and letting them know if they are or if they are not covered and determining the cost based on their eligibility
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Previous Medical Reception experience required!
No Degree Required
*Must understand insurance plans and be able to speak to patients regarding their insurance
*Must be well versed with HIPPA regulations
*Must be able to learn new systems quickly
*Must be open to working overtime when needed. Hours for this role would typically be 9am-5pm with 1 hour lunch, however, some 6pm work nights would be expected as well.
