Credit Analyst

job summary:

Credit Analyst

A commodities trading company in Minnetonka, MN is looking for a full-time credit analyst to support its growing business. This professional level position requires a high proficiency in credit report scoring and 5+ years of progressive credit experience.

Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze customer credit information

Monitor customer credit conditions

Obtain and maintain current and accurate credit applications

Utilize third-party credit reporting tools to obtain customer credit reports

Initiate collection activities with customers to proactively deal with account delinquencies

Complete credit applications for new and existing vendors

Obtain credit insurance for at-risk accounts

Requirements:

Familiar with all regulations governing business-to-business credit

Strong negotiation and organization skills

Ability to make sound decisions with regards to company directed guidelines

Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities

Ability to build strong relationships with internal traders

High proficiency in Excel
