We are looking for a mature, disciplined, and motivated candidate that can perform the following key functions:

  • GL maintenance and reconciliation

  • Maintain the chart of accounts and attendant reporting in Microsoft Dynamics GP

  • Reconcile bank and investment accounts monthly

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Financial Reporting and Month End Close

  • Close the books monthly, including all attendant reconciling and accrual entries

  • Produce monthly reporting package

  • Distribute to appropriate cost center heads throughout the organization

  • Daily bank deposits

  • Liason with multiple departments

  • Annual audit

  • Produce supporting schedules based on reconciliations for the annual audit

  • Provide supporting transaction information and documentation for audit testing selections

  • Assist the CFO with any submissions that relate to the bank or investment accounts, fixed assets or accounts receivable



Required Experience :

3-4 years of recent accounting experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Experience with reconciliations (bank or balance sheet)

Experience with departmental budgeting and cost allocation

Beginner to Intermediate Excel

Preferred Experience:

4+ years recent accounting experience

Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc)

Experience in an organization (for-profit or not-for-profit) that undergoes an annual audit (will also consider public accounting audit experience)

Exposure to budgeting and forecasting for an organization with multiple revenue and cost centers is a plus
