PLC Automation Technician

We are looking for a Technician responsible for completing automation projects and equipment upgrades by organizing and controlling project elements. You will need to coordinates electrical and automation projects with plant personnel, external engineering firms and contractors.

This is a Monday- Friday Oportunity

1st Shift

$80K - $100K


Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and PLC programming issues on existing plant equipment, new project automation design and programming, and instrumentation/controls for equipment upgrades from project installation up to and through commissioning phase.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


-PLC troubleshooting and programming (RSLogix expertise required).

-Determines automation project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies.

-Supports commissioning of completed projects by confirming equipment performance and performing final instrumentation and PLC programming

-Determines electrical schedules by maintaining and studying project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.

-Maintains plants electrical/automation and instrumentation systems, resolving problems.

-Provides input on project plans by reviewing electrical design, specifications, plan and schedule changes; recommends actions.

-Hands-on knowledge of MMI and Visual Factory systems.

-Ability to troubleshoot and repair servo driven equipment

-Maintains a safe and clean working environment.

-Maintains project data bases.

-Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations


No Degree Required




2-year technical degree in, Robotics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering is required.

Three or more years electrical automation experience in a plant manufacturing environment.

A working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and process production systems.

PLC Programming

Troubleshooting skills as it relates to plant production equipment end electrical control systems.
