Ocean Import Customer Service

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

In general, you will be responsible to ensure accurate and timely movement of freight to specific destinations within the customers level of service standards. Process and organize all documentation needed to initiate and complete movement of freight as well as ensuring accurate receiving and shipping of customers' freight, maintain inventory integrity, reconcile inventory and shipping discrepancies.

  • Communicate on a daily basis with customer, broker and other departments, including managers and/or supervisors when issues arise

  • Coordinate and plan inbound and outbound loads

  • Serve as support for the management team with data entry as related to billing functions

  • Submit billing and confirm with Accounting billing has occurred

-Handle all requests from customer in a timely manner

-Verify all freight pulls, transfers, movement of freight and orders shipping to destinations

Job Type: Temporary 4-6 month contract

Compensation: $15-$18 per hour depending on experience

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
