Electrical Panel Wireman

Randstad is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Panel Wireman for a family owned business on the North side of Jacksonville. Apply and upload your resume for this great Direct Hire opportunity!


Connects wiring between components according to the wiring print, specification sheet, and Bill of Material using hand tools such as screwdrivers, strippers, crimpers, etc.

Crimps appropriate size and type of lugs to wire ends by using a hand crimping device.

Installs wiring, lugs, and assembles/installs components such as switches, heaters, and relays and other apparatus in a frame, panel or other structural support according to design specifications.

Lays out, routes, and ties wire to panels by using wiring bundles, bundle holders, clips, and bushings and other protectors with hand tools.

Positions, aligns, and adjusts wires and components to facilitate wiring and assembly of product.

Attach wire labels.

Drills, taps, reams, countersinks using drill presses and portable power drills.

Assemble panel components to ensure functional layout and meet quality standards.

Wire components to produce a functional panel and meet quality standards.

Identify problems related to control panel design, parts and metal fabrication and resolve with appropriate staff, as early in the manufacturing process as possible.

Physically inspect panel to ensure product quality.

Perform special projects, or other tasks, as may be requested by the Production Manager.

Assembly: Create panel layout, assemble and mount components. Physically move panel and components when needed.

Wiring: Wire and rewire components as needed to correct errors.

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM


--Understand electrical components and electronics

--Understand schematics and blueprints

--Read 1/8", and 1/16" graduations on tape measure

--Convert feet to inches and vice versa

--Use of hand and power tools

--Ability to follow blue prints and build instructions

--Familiarity with wiring, circuit boards and soldering

--Great hand dexterity and the ability to use hand tools

--Ability to manipulate small parts into clean assemblies

--Ability to work with team members and without supervision


High School




  • Must pass a background check.

  • Must pass a drug screen.

  • One year experience in related field.

  • Willing to travel (company paid)

  • AutoCAD experience

  • PLC experience.
