Infrastructure Project Manager

job summary:

This Project Manager position will lead cross-functional internal and external resources in delivering Infrastructure projects. This position will provide tactical coordination, project management, and potentially program management of related projects.

  • Lead simultaneous projects of varying sizes within our Security, Infrastructure and Telecommunications portfolio.

  • Build and manage the end-to-end project plan, which includes managing resources and tasks that may/may not be performed by technical Infrastructure resources. This PM will be required to manage interdependencies of other projects and external vendors.

  • Follow Project Management Institute (PMI) standards to define and manage project scope, quality, schedule, and budget.

  • Manage vendors, to meet or exceed delivering projects as committed.

  • Manage and deliver effective and adaptive communications to all levels of the organization.

  • Proactively and effectively manage risks.

  • Bridge the technical and cross-functional teams. Build and maintain strong communications across impacted and affected groups. At times, act as a liaison to the Infrastructure technical teams, facilitating working relationships and coordinating tasks to meet the business outcome.

  • Leads problem-solving, driving issues to closure.

  • Analyzes and approves change requests. Provides control around change and cost management.

  • Conduct regular check-ins and status reports as required by the IT PMO.


Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience in managing IT Infrastructure projects (e.g. Security, Network, Servers, Facility/Data Center), or related services.

  • Proficiency in the following tools: MS Office Suite, MS Project, CA PPM (Clarity), SharePoint, ServiceNow, SAP.

  • PMP certified (optional).
