Technical Business Analyst

job summary:

Act as requirements project lead for medium to large projects, directing and coordinating requirements project staff and activities. Oversee production support of core projects, including gathering and documenting requirements, translating functional requirements to technical requirements, and identifying options. Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams. Coordinates development, testing, and implementation of solutions with vendors. Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with track record of delivering business process requirements and use cases is required. Solid experience and understanding of Agile Scrum and Rational Unified Process Methodology in developing use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential. Solid understanding of relevant business issues. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills.

The following is preferred but not required: Experience managing multiple large, complex and cross functional projects, with emphasis on systems, technologies, business process redesign, and knowledge of technical environments, a background in the financial services industry, BA/BS degree and/or PMP certification.

Digital Services Analytics team within Analytics & Business Insight plays a critical role in supporting new Digital Services organization. The team is responsible for providing reliable and timely analytics and insights to inform Digital Services strategies, business decisions, and improvements to digital platforms. We leverage close, collaborative working relationships with our business partners to apply analytic solutions to a wide array of business problems and questions. Key responsibilities will include: Act as an internal strategy consultant to Digital Services stakeholders - understand the challenges they face, form proactive, data-driven approaches, and execute quantitative analyses to inform business decisions Build reporting & analytic dashboards that provide actionable insights and maximize business value Gather relevant quantitative and qualitative information by extracting data from internal databases and meeting with team and business partners Pro-actively analyze data to uncover insights that increase business value and impact Collaborate with internal ABI partners to deliver best-in-class and holistic solutions Build strong partnerships with business partners to align, prioritize, and integrate our efforts


3-5 years of experience in an analytical or business intelligence role Superior analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective presentations tailored to specific audiences Strong relationship building and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams Proficient in SQL and experience in building Tableau dashboards Financial Services experience preferred but not required Bachelor's degree

skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and iGraphx or Visio Drawing tools along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required.
