Permanent position: Innovative transportation company is seeking multiple EMC Engineers at various levels in Los Angeles, CA. The Sr. EMC Engineer and EMC Engineer will be part of the core engineering team and be highly involved with all EMC design, analysis and regulatory initiatives for the group. Qualified candidates will have a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Physics or related discipline and 5+ years of experience with EMC analysis, design and testing. Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer
Design, test and analyze EMC systems
Conduct reviews for EMC compatibility and create verification and validation plans.
Act as the point person for planning, and negotiating the EMC program/project with third party consulting
Requirements for the Electrical Engineer
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related discipline
Experience in aerospace, aviation or rail highly preferred and experience working for a start-up or R&D environment is a huge plus.
Expert knowledge of national and international EMC standards required
Must be able to design, test, analyze and troubleshoot all EMC related initiatives and problems.
Experience leading EMC programs at a system level a plus
