CNC Programmer

Permanent position: Industry leading manufacturer is looking to hire a CNC Programmer, this opportunity will be located in the Louisville, KY area. The ideal candidate will have CNC programming experience utilizing Siemens NX in a complex machining environment Experience researching, developing and improving manufacturing processes, methods and systems for products, facilities, fixtures, tooling, equipment and materials is ideal. This role comes a very competitive base salary commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $90k to $100k along with an excellent relocation package. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities for the CNC Programmer

  • Develops and tests work methods and procedures, ensuring performance and quality of materials, products and machines meet specifications and stardards

  • Ensures technical outcomes are consistent with established engineering principles and practices and that customer and company technical, system, performance and quality requirements are met

  • Applies engineering design and/or analytical theory, principles, techniques and practices to a limited portion of a technical project to include: metals processing, welding, fabrication and/or metal cutting (machining) technology

  • Develops and writes technical documentation makes revisions to existing documentation and provides input to technical papers or presentations

  • Ability to set up, organize and populate manufacturing engineering production information using Siemens NX

Requirements for the CNC Programmer

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • CNC machining programming utilizing Siemens NX

  • Must have applied knowledge of fundamental concepts practices and procedures of a relevant technical field of specialization

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience with tool design, CAD and complex machining is very desirable

  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US


  • Excellent compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $90k to $100k

  • Excellent relocation package is available
