Randstad MSP/Contingent Labor Program Director in Malvern, Pennsylvania

Position objective

The Program Director is a client centric role that acts as strategic partner to the KDM and contacts of the client’s organization and provides operational direction and guidance ensuring consistent delivery of contract terms and KPIs, and profitability goals; management of overall accounts P&L; client relationships, account management, team management. This person has responsibility for up to three accounts and/or revenue goals up to $25 million. The Program Director will:

Position summary

  • Achieve budget profitability as well as monitor and control costs; be responsible for full P&L, achieve financial objectives of assigned contracts and areas, including operational improvements, expense management, account growth, and revenue and contribution attainment

  • Build and maintain a strategic partnership with the client and Alliance Suppliers through an extensive and active understanding of the client’s business, strategic direction, processes, and policies to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and account performance agreements

  • Ensure efficient operations and contract compliance to achieve operational measurements and cost reduction objectives. Resolve operational challenges that impact the effectiveness of the account and satisfy audit requirements to protect customers and company assets

  • Lead and develop account teams to optimize service delivery to clients and produce measurable and cost-effective results that align directly with client’s business drivers

  • Develop requirements for reports, forecasts, analyses, and other marketing related activities

  • Attend networking events within the client industry and introduce cutting edge services from the staffing market to build top of mind awareness which fosters a consultative relationship and increased business with the on-site client


  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Master’s level work a plus

Work experience

  • Minimum of seven years of business experience with a minimum of one in either staffing or in the client’s industry of specialization

  • Ability to multi-task an effectively prioritize workload

  • Unsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex client situations in an effective manner

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and Outlook

  • Ability to present business reviews and workforce strategies to client groups

  • Demonstrate the ability to identify customer’s needs and to deliver, decline, or adjust expectation
