Production Coordinator

Permanent position: Well established manufacturer in the Memphis, TN area is looking for a Manufacturing Production Associate to assist production supervisors and monitor program schedules, quality controls and man power. Candidates must be able to speak/read Japanese. Only seeking local candidates at this time.

Responsibilities for the Production Coordinator

  • Prioritize, plan, schedule and manage production activities to meet manufacturing objectives in timely and cost effective manner.

  • Identify production issues, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.

  • Perform inventory management and report warehouse status to Manager.

  • Develop production plan and schedule to ensure continuous operations.

  • Develop process improvements to improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements for the Production Coordinator

  • Able to read and speak fluent Japanese

  • Bachelors degree is a PLUS, will consider lower level degrees with relevant experience.

  • Must have 3+ years manufacturing experience
