Product Manager

job summary:

We are looking for an expert Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and energizing environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy for the very best staffing firms in the industry.

responsibilities:

This position reports the Vice President of Products and is based in either Richmond, Virginia.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.

  • Nurture consensus for the vision both internally and with key external partners

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes

  • Release Execution Sprints and teams both serve a larger purpose - frequent, reliable, and continuous release of valuable, system-level software.

  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources

  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

  • Represent client by meeting with customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A real passion for customers and the user experience

  • Consistent track record of leading all aspects of a successful product or enterprise implementation throughout its lifecycle

  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done

  • You should have the ability to analyze, synthesize, and discern a broad range of product requests from different sources in order to make the best decision possible for the product and users

skills:

  • Solid understanding of software architecture and technologies

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers to define and drive application features and functionality

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Finance or related fields
