Accounts Payable Specialist

Randstad Professionals is currently sourcing for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Rockland area! The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running in an automated environment.

  • Compiles, records, and analyzes routine accounts payable transactions

  • Manage and maintain data entry of invoices for specified letter range and resolve vendor invoice and payment issues as necessary to support timely payment to vendors

  • Assist the Procurement team with investigating Contract and PO discrepancies, including trouble shooting of the invoice receipt and matching process

  • Support month-end A/P close process relative to accurate accruals and vendor account reconciliations

  • Supporting the cash payables processes within AP and Treasury

  • Review daily system reports to ensure invoices/expense reports workflows are completed

  • Assist with system configuration, exporting, mapping, and importing data from old to new systems

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, applying best practice principles and concepts where appropriate

  • Develop and maintain robust procedure documentation


  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable preferred

  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong problem solving and logic/analytical skills

  • Strong interest in working in a systems heavy environment, and developing new systems knowledge and areas of expertise

  • SAP and Concur experience preferred

  • Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to organize multiple processes and shift priorities rapidly
