job summary:

Our client is a manufacturer in the Ontario area and they are in need of someone with AP knowledge to step in for a leave of absence.

There is tremendous upside for this person, as the Supervisor will be retiring next year and the hope is to groom this person to replace the Supervisor in 2020.

responsibilities:

In order for the Accounts Payable Specialist to be successful, they should have experience with the following:

  • Full cycle AP processing of about 100 invoices with varying complexity

  • Sales and use tax experience

  • Journal entry preparation

  • Month end experience

qualifications:

The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • At least 3 years of accounting experience

  • ERP accounting experience
