Financial Planning Analyst Accountant

job summary:

Perform financial analysis and accounting related to the company's operations. This includes analysis of healthcare reimbursement, cash flow projections, budgets, accruals, patient and contract receivables, month-ends and forecasting.

responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial reporting including variance and financial statement analysis.

  • Participate in the preparation of annual budgets, economic trends and operational effectiveness.

  • Provide financial and analytical analysis to facilitate decision-making around hospital contracts.

  • Assists Accounting staff with month-end close, prepare accruals.

  • Keep current on market dynamics and competitors.

  • Review and audit payroll and financial reconciliations

  • Participate in Quarterly and monthly financial and operational calls.

qualifications:

  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and managed care experience preferred

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting (accrual experience required)

  • MBA or CPA preferred
