Accounts Receivable Clerk

A consumer product company in Nassau County is seeking a detail-oriented and customer oriented individual to join their team!

This is a temporary to permanent position with a 30 hour work week and summer hours available!

Responsibilities:

-Post customer payments (cash, credit card, check transactions)

-Totaling unpaid invoices

-Verify and manage account discrepancies

-Account reconciliations

-Analyze charge backs

-Resolve collections

-Communicate with high volume accounts

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:

-Strong organizational skills

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

-Attentive

-Able to work in a fast paced environment

-Possess a sense of urgency

Education:

Associate

Experience:

Experienced

Qualifications:

-High School Diploma required, college degree preferred

-Minimum of 5 years experience in Accounts Receivable

-Must have experience working in a consumer product related industry

-Strong computer skills, including Excel (Pivot Tables/VLookups)
