Sr SDET

job summary:

Sr. SDET needed for contract opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Puget Sound, WA

Responsibilities

  • Develop, Validate, Debug and design features, test scripts, and automation pipeline for a Python-based test automation utility

  • Conduct daily/weekly automation test runs on various SKUs, review the test results, and debug any bugs encountered

  • Work closely with embedded firmware team to drive progress in test and development

  • Work with OEMs/ODMs to drive additional utility development and assistance (such as in debugging issues)

  • Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python development

  • Proven experience in software development for hardware/Firmware testing

  • Windows server and Linux automation

  • Version control experience such as git

  • Ability to test, troubleshoot and debug embedded systems

  • Some REST API web experience, basic understanding of network stack (OSI, SSH, SFTP, DHCP etc)

  • Enthusiastic, attention to detail, results oriented, organized, motivated, self-driven

  • Ability to work independently but also collaboratively in a diverse team environment

  • Agile development process

  • A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
