Full Stack Technology Lead

job summary:

The Investment Operations Technology team designs, develops, implements and supports applications for acquisition, management and distribution of reference data to various Fidelity groups.

In this role, you will serve as the Technology Lead focusing on design & development and delivery of high quality, timely and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment which meet functional and non-functional business requirements. This role will involve business, technology partners & stakeholder engagement, design and release support.

work hours: 9am to 5pm

responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating software engineering excellence through continuous integration, continuous deployment, Acceptance Test Driven Development

  • Keeping current with IT blueprint, frameworks and technologies that would benefit us and improve our productivity; guides junior team members on technology

  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders/large cross functional teams as part of work delivery

  • Following and promoting engineering practices and contribute towards innovative solutions to increase productivity

qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred

  • Demonstrated mastery of previous level skills and responsibilities of relevant job family

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience

skills:

  • You should be hands-on on Java as a primary skill.

  • You should be proficient in technologies like Java 1.7 or higher, JMS, Spring framework, REST, SOAP, myBatis, Oracle SQL, Git, Maven/Jenkins, Nexus, Active MQ

  • You should be hands-on in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular

  • You should have basic understanding of Cloud computing and AWS in particular. Any of the AWS certification is preferable.

  • You should be familiar with usage of design patterns, threads and their application
