CPTY Document Negotiator

job summary:

Our company is seeking candidates with Commercial Finance experience, to review complicated loan documents and digitize certain data points in a database that was previously built.

Derivatives OR commercial loan documentation experience is a MUST !!

We're not seeking people with only personal/consumer loan experience (e.g., mortgage brokers or personal bankers), but candidates with significant derivatives and commercial loan documentation experience.

Former Mid to Senior level associate with significant derivatives and commercial loan documentation experience will be considered for permanent placement!

Your day-to-day:

Responsible for the review, preparation, and tracking of various legal agreements covering a range of basic to moderately complex derivative and other fixed income transactions with commercial banking customers and institutional counterparties.

Legal agreements include but are not limited to the ISDA Master Agreement (including Schedules), Credit Support Annex and authority and credit support documentation.

In addition, may be required to review additional agreements including but not limited to: NAESBs, MRAs and MSFTAs.

Must have a strong understanding of the various underlying transactions and be able to quickly comprehend and articulate credit, operational, legal and business issues which arise during the processes.

May mentor junior associates.

You may be asked to work on various projects, including amending and updating templates, processes or systems.

Required:

Derivatives OR commercial loan documentation experience

5+ years experience in counterparty documentation.
