Senior Mechanical Engineer

Contract position: A Senior Thermal/Mechanical Engineer is needed for a market leader in information security services in the Santa Clara, CA area. This position is responsible for thermal and mechanical design for networking products. No per diem available. No travel anticipated. 1st shift. Some evening work, OT, and off-shift work may be required.

Responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Engineer

  • Work on a development team responsible for thermal and mechanical design and carry out execution working with our ODM partners.

  • Conduct and participate in engineering tests to validate the robustness and proper performance of new products.

  • Responsible for testing, analysis and debug on assigned mechanical prototypes. Ensure deliverables are met per program schedules.

Requirements for the Senior Mechanical Engineer

  • At least 10 years of thermal engineering experience. must have previous experience with high tech electronics equipment.
