Documentation Control Specialist

Contract position: Construction Document Specialist located in Seattle, WA for a terminal improvement construction project. This role is responsible to process all incoming/outgoing construction plans, specs, schedules, change orders, and other technical documentation and direct to the appropriate team members. Experience processing documentation for the building and marine construction industry is ideal. This is a contract opportunity that is slated to last for an initial period of one year with the possibility of extension. APPLY NOW!

Responsibilities for the Documentation Control Specialist

  • Processing all incoming/outgoing documentation and disseminating it to the appropriate team members

  • Analyze plans, specifications, schedules, construction change orders, Requests for Information (RFI), proposals, and other technical project documentation

  • Assist with project coordination of document controls.

  • Maintain logs to track the project status

  • Review and analyze Contract Change information and update drawings

  • Edit document copies of Plan Sheets to incorporate redline markups and other contract updates

Requirements for the Documentation Control Specialist

  • Must have experience reviewing and processing technical documentation

  • Ability to analyze plans, specifications, schedules, construction change orders, Requests for Information (RFI), and proposals

  • Experience managing and entering the documentation for construction or capital project work orders

  • Building and marine construction industry experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
