LEAN Manufacturing Process Engineer

job summary:

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the field or a related area

  • Strong knowledge of LEAN concepts and applications

  • CAD knowledge a plus (ProE/AutoCAD/Solid Works)

  • Strong knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system a must, product BOM structure creation, modification, routings as well as parts maintenance, i.e. and processing of Engineering Change Notices (ECN's)

  • Experience designing, building, and/or debugging Mechanical, Electro-mechanical and optical assemblies desired, as well as knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; requires interaction with managers, supervisors, engineers, and hourly associates in a fast paced environment

  • Certified in Continuous Improvement/DMAIC/Six Sigma processes preferred

  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry/utilizing analytical instrumentation a strong plus

  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
