Import Coordinator

We are currently hiring for an Import Coordinators to help support a large Logistics Organization in South San Francisco. This is a great opportunity to further your career and work with one of the premier Logistics Organizations out there. The shift is 8-5pm M-F.- You will be working with high profile clients supporting their logistical needs. This is a tight knit office that offers a great work/life balance and environment.

  • Classify products for Import

  • Setup and manage best shipping method

  • Provide general customer support for all logistical needs

  • Manage shipments with the shipper, freight forwarder and steamship company from origin to destination

  • Understanding, prepare and process export documentation according to customs regulations, laws and procedures

  • Coordinate and process shipments via transportation management system to ensure timely, efficient and cost effective deliveries

  • Provide detailed reports of paid and open invoices

  • Request and compile documentation

  • Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, brokers, freight forwarders and steamship companies

  • Other duties as assigned

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


-- Responsible for scheduling pickups, deliveries, routing vehicles efficiently, solid organizational and decision making skills.

-- Proficient in computer skills for Microsoft Office especially in Word and Excel

-- Typing and data entry skills are a must

-- Strong communication skills, daily interaction with driver's and clients.

-- Ability to multitask efficiently


No Degree Required


Entry Level


-- Previous logistics experience a plus

-- Experience with prior dispatching tools preferred

-- Knowledge of different airlines and local airports

-- Thorough knowledge of all office procedures
