Randstad is in search for a Vice President in Healthcare . This role is a hands-on leader with a matrixed responsibility for the growth and retention of the clinical and nonclinical units. This person will be involved with setting the overarching growth strategy, as well as monitoring daily business development and recruiting metrics, along with continued innovation to stay relevant in changing market conditions. This person will work with the field leaders to insure proper staffing levels and performance levels of the individual producers. This person will be responsible for personal sales and field steering to achieve sustainable results. The Vice President, Healthcare is responsible for multiple units across multiple geographies in a matrix environment.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for steering the business through driving profitable growth of units in specified geographies; generating new sales opportunities, managing a P&L, and helping manage and develop the team, and maintain client relationships while ensuring consistent product delivery and compliance.
Help mentor and motivate, develop and grow market teams in tandem with field leaders
Guide field teams in optimizing service delivery models for clients and produce measurable and cost-effective results that align directly with client’s business drivers; Act as liaison with Randstad Healthcare.
Demonstrate transformational leadership to enhance motivation, morale and performance of Management Team by developing and fostering a culture reflective of the organization’s values that encourage cost effective results and reward productivity.
Leads by example in the areas of production and business continuity.
Evaluate the potential for the business, identify current business strengths, and orchestrate the completion of a strategic business plan for growth in the market. Drive the sales effort with continual contact and face to face meetings with executives.
Maintain, build and grow client relationships, positioning Randstad as a staffing industry leader. Manage relationships with current clients to identify future needs and provide thought leadership.
Implement innovative strategies while collaborating with operations, branch staff, and Randstad Healthcare to drive peak performance at all times, and sustain high client satisfaction levels
Identify cross selling opportunities with other LOBs to drive business growth across Randstad
Achieve budget profitability and identify opportunities for new revenue streams in partnership with peers by selling and implementing new business opportunities and supporting the sales process locally and regionally.
Actively participate and network within community to build business, Randstad visibility and stay abreast of industry/market trends.
Monitor and control costs and bear responsibility for full P&L and work with senior management to ensure profit of the business, adherence to the contract and SLAs, and to seek out opportunities for improvement.
Track, analyze and communicate overall progress of sales & recruiting efforts against activity targets - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually to achieve financial objectives of assigned areas, including operational improvements, expense management, account growth, and revenue, margin and contribution attainment.
Establish, enhance and communicate business plans with Region, Zone and Healthcare Leaders to define and drive strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Ensure profitability and health of assigned geography via key wellness indicators, financial and operation reporting, compliance, pricing, etc.
Ensure appropriate business controls are in place to satisfy audit requirements and to protect customers and company assets.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s level work a plus
7+ years of industry experience
1+ years of healthcare experience
5+years of people management and demonstrated success in driving business results
2+years of demonstrated success in selling large accounts, staffing experience highly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
Unsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization
Experience in building business including time and territory management, sales and proposal presentation to clients.
Ability to achieve profitable sales development and growth through management and development of branch managers and producers.
Ability to provide sound leadership to a team, demonstrate guidance and coaching abilities, and direct team to achieve set objectives.
Demonstrate the ability to identify customer’s needs and to deliver, decline, or adjust expectations.
Proven track record of quantified sales and service abilities and recruiting within a similar environment
Ability to effectively prioritize workload
Ability to develop high performing individuals and teams
Strong customer focus and customer service skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
Ability for frequent domestic travel (remote 50%/travel 50%)
