Marketing Representative

Do you enjoy working with a mission in mind? Are you advanced in InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite? Do you have a passion for interacting with others and creating eye-catching content? Randstad is currently seeking Marketing Assistants with 2 or more years' experience in a professional office setting for companies in Washington, D.C. Most of these opportunities offer a pay rate of $16-19 for temporary and temporary to hire roles. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is skilled in organization, time management, task-driven and a self-starter who is professional and respectful. Candidates with experience utilizing InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite in marketing position or professional office setting (clearly shown on resume) highly desired.

Responsibilities:

Marketing:

  • Editing and formatting new marketing content and updating existing materials.

  • Ability to brainstorm and pitch new marketing and campaign project ideas in biweekly and monthly team meetings.

  • Utilize creative software and graphic design programs to create accurate and eye-catching material to attract and grow organization network.

Administrative:

  • Answering phones, taking messages, following up via phone and/or email

  • Schedule support, assist with meeting coordination, material preparation, presentation creation and setup

  • Process and Receive incoming mail

  • Maintaining records, updating database

  • General office support

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

-- Knowledge of and experience with InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) Microsoft Office Suite (must have intermediate- advanced working knowledge of Outlook and Excel)

-- Ability to think creatively and contribute to a creative marketing and development team, able to work with a team and individually

-- Professional demeanor and presentation

-- Ability to learn and navigate databases

-- Ability to take on multiple responsibilities and multi-task

-- 2-3 years experience minimum

-- Associates Degree required; Bachelor?s Degree preferred
